Hello, Internet!

I’m Lily Homer, a UX designer living and working in Chicago. I have experience in various forms of creative media, producing physical installations, written work, and digital experiences; working in web design, communications, marketing, and exhibitions for arts organizations and universities; and prioritize user feedback and digital accessibility (LinkedIn).

I have an MFA in Fiber & Material Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BA in Studio Art (Architecture) from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT.

User Research

My approach to user research carefully balances user needs and desires with businesses the requirements and goals. Asking the right questions of stakeholders helps distill the needs of the project.

Qualitative Interviews

The essential qualities I bring to qualitative interviews are curiosity, emotional intelligence, and commitment to developing a practical product.

User Empathy

Collecting data on a variety of users is essential to forming a clear picture of project goals. I lead with a commitment to web accessibility and inclusivity.
